Bikes For Tykes Drive In Fort Collins Seeks Donations

478 kids, ages 2 to 17, are signed up this year for the annual Bikes for Tykes bicycle drive in Fort Collins and organizers are looking for help filling the orders.   Bikes for Tykes is the longest-running program for the Northern Colorado nonprofit, which provides emergency services and support for area children who have been abused, neglected or are at-risk. According to the Coloradoan, as of Nov. 19, Realities for Children was around 300 bikes short.  The nonprofit is currently accepting bikes of all sizes. Used bikes must be donated by Saturday, Nov. 30 to allow for them to be tuned and safety checked. New bikes can be donated through Dec. 4.
