Loveland City Council members face another double-header on Tuesday, with a Loveland Urban Renewal Authority board meeting at 4 p.m. followed by a special meeting at 6:45 p.m. to select a new city manager, city attorney and municipal judge. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports the Centerra plan faces its final hurdles on Tuesday, when the 12 members of LURA will take a decisive vote on moving forward and then potentially decide between two firms vying to conduct the examination. Then, at a special meeting, members will vote whether to hire Jim Thompson to be the new city manager, Vince Junglas as city attorney and Jennifer Edgley as municipal judge.
