Greeley police are warning about a scam. They said someone is calling residents, impersonating Sergeant Peltz of the Greeley Police Department. Police said the scammer also set up a voicemail impersonating Sergeant Peltz in case people call the number back. Police aren’t sure what exactly the scammer wants, but they said the calls are not legitimate. While police may call you, the department reminds residents they’ll never offer discounts or solicit payment over the phone.
