CSP issues 40,000 warnings to drivers weaving in, out of express lanes

A solid double white line means stay in your lane. But apparently, not everyone thinks so. The Colorado State Patrol issued more than 40,000 warnings last month to drivers who are weaving in and out of express lanes on I-25 and Colorado 470. More than 90% of those warnings were issued to Colorado drivers. September was a grace period. If you’re caught doing it now on C-470 from I-25 to Wadsworth Boulevard and on I-25 from Highway 36 to E-470, it’ll cost $75. Citations will be sent via mail. Troopers said weaving in and out of express lanes creates dangerous conditions that cause accidents.
