PSD hires third-party service to fill crucial staff support roles

The Poudre School District has hired a third-party staffing service to fill vital positions that keep schools running. The Coloradoan reports the Board of Education unanimously voted to approve a more than $1.3 million contract with ESS West to provide temporary staffing solutions through the end of this school year. The district needs substitutes for its paraprofessionals, cafeteria workers, health technicians, clerical and office support, and media specialists at all 50 of its non-charter schools. The staffing service will not fill substitute teacher jobs at this time.
