A man was arrested after police say he attempted to get on a Poudre School District bus Tuesday afternoon. The Coloradoan reports the bus was at a scheduled stop on Conifer Street across the street from the Murphy Center for Hope shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday when a man walked over from the Murphy Center and attempted to get on the bus. Gilmore said the bus driver did not recognize the man as a parent and blocked the door as he attempted to climb the steps onto the bus. At the same time, a security guard from the Murphy Center who saw the man walking over arrived and pulled the man from the steps of the bus. Police were called in took the man into custody. He never made contact with any students.
