Another roundabout will be built on Weld County Road 74 west of Eaton after the Colorado Department of Transportation awarded the county a $1.2 million grant to assist with construction costs at a Weld Board of County Commissioners meeting last week. Weld Commissioner Kevin Ross says roundabouts are viewed as safer and more efficient than traditional intersections, reports the Greeley Tribune. Construction on the roundabout — which is budgeted at $13.2 million — is slated to begin in 2026.
