Injuries Suffered By Man In Air Crash Apparently Not Life Threatening

A man injured in a crash of a vehicle similar to a paraglider in north Loveland on Monday evening is expected to survive his injuries, reports the Loveland Reporter Herald.   Larimer County Department of Natural Resources is leading the investigation into the incident, as the crash occurred within a Larimer County open space, Long View Farm, on the west side of U.S. 287.   The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Authority were consulted, but because it was determined that the accident was not a plane crash, local authorities will conduct the investigation.
