Loveland City Council Tuesday will discuss the 2025 “austerity” budget and alternative scenarios for the anticipated $13 million in reductions to the general fund. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports the discussion will focus on proposed $5.7 million in cuts to “public-facing” services, including parks and recreation, the library, and cultural services, with another $4.1 million in reductions proposed for public safety services, including police, fire, municipal court, and transportation. Loveland City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers at the Municipal Building, 500 E. Third St.
