The Hiway Motel on East Eisenhower Boulevard was condemned by the city of Loveland last week due to “several” code violations. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, the city temporarily closed the motel on April 15, citing conditions that posed “significant risks to employees, patrons and the general public,” according to a statement from the city provided to the Reporter-Herald on Tuesday. The city investigation that led to the motel’s closure is the 16th at the property since 2007. It was launched in January after complaints from occupants and people in the vicinity.
