Public Comment Section Makes Its Way Back To Weld County Commissioner Meetings

Following backlash about removing it, the public comment section  is back at Weld County commissioner meetings.  The Greeley Tribune reports there are some restrictions meeting to meeting.   Board Chairman Kevin Ross said,  “We may have acted a little hastily on this, but we reconsidered and we did bring back public comment.”  Reportedly, more than 500 people signed a petition on  Commissioner Lori Saine’s website to bring back public comments. At the March 13 meeting, more than a dozen residents gathered to demonstrate against the commissioners’ removal of the public comment section.
