There will be a June sentencing date for 31 year old Samuel Strait, who pleaded guilty to selling a deadly dose of fentanyl to a teen in Loveland. Straight was in court this week roughly two months after his attorney, Troy Krenning, filed a motion stating Strait wished to explore the potential of withdrawing his guilty plea from November; he previously pleaded guilty to distribution of fentanyl resulting in death. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, Strait pleaded guilty to of providing a lethal dose of fentanyl to a 15-year-old Loveland boy, who was found unconscious and not breathing on his bed at a home in the 1300 block of North Washington Avenue in the summer of 2022.
