Starting Monday, the intersection at East Fourth Street and North Washington Avenue will be closed for water and stormwater infrastructure work as part of the Heart Improvement Plan (HIP) streets project. The closure is expected to last 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting. Drivers are advised to use East Seventh Street, East First Street, Lincoln Avenue, Cleveland Avenue and Madison Avenue as alternative routes. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, to reach the City Municipal Complex, Loveland Library, Chilson Recreation and Senior Center, commuters should use East Fifth Street and Adams Avenue.
Downtown Loveland’s HIP Streets project to close intersection
