‘Temporary Hiring Chill’ At CSU

Colorado State University has implemented “a temporary hiring chill” and other cost-cutting moves in response to concerns about potential cuts in state and federal funding. According to the Coloradoan,  recruitment and hiring to fill vacant positions not “deemed essential to core operations and/or the life and safety of campus” will be “paused until further notice.” The memorandum was addressed to the university’s vice presidents, deans, department heads and campus supervisors.
