A person was hit and killed by a vehicle after fleeing from a crash along Interstate 25 in Fort Collins on Thursday night. The Greeley Tribune reports it started with a two vehicle crash on northbound I-25 at the Harmony Road exit in Fort Collins at 5:17 p.m. Thursday. Police say before they arrived, one of the drivers in the crash fled the scene on foot and, while crossing the southbound lanes, was hit by another vehicle. That person was taken to the hospital where they died. No word on their identity. No other injuries reported.
