Matthews To Step Down As President Of Greeley-Evans District 6 BOE

Michael Mathews, president of the Greeley-Evans District 6 Board of Education,  has announced  he will resign from his term-limited role in the coming weeks.  According to the Greeley Tribune, Mathews’ second and final term expires in November, but he would prefer to spend his last months in the job helping with the leadership transition.    As a District 6 parent and local pastor, Mathews joined the board of education in 2017. He became board president  in 2018.
