Judge Denies Prosecution Appeal For Murder Suspect To Be Ordered To Take Medication

A Fort Collins man, 36 year old Trevor George,  accused of killing another man and strangling a young girl in 2020 in Windsor will appear in Weld District Court for yet another status conference in June, after a Weld District judge denied a motion by the prosecution that would force him to take his medication.  The Greeley Tribune reports  prosecutors opened a Wednesday  hearing saying the prosecution does not believe George is competent to proceed.  They instead shifted focus to a motion he filed requesting George be forced to take his medication in an effort to return him to a consistent state of competency.
