Drug Suspect Skips Court Appearance In Weld County

A man who failed to show up for a court appearance on drug counts last week is being sought by authorities in Weld County.   The Greeley Tribune reports 33 year old Frieidi Varela- Perez allegedly sold nearly 90 grams of cocaine to undercover investigators and was found with another 212 grams during his arrest, after he failed to appear at a status conference last week in relation to the charges.   Varela-Perez faces four charges for drug distribution, as well as a special offender charge for three firearms allegedly found along with the cocaine in his camper when he was arrested He appeared for a hearing on advisement after posting $50,000 bond before failing to show up at a status conference March 28.
