Alaska man arrested in cold case killing in Boulder

An Alaska man has been arrested in connection with a cold case killing in Boulder County. John Angerer, 53, was arrested in Anchorage Thursday on second-degree murder charges. He’s accused of killed Angela Wilds whose body was found by two hikers in a shallow grave outside of Lyons in 2006. Angerer was first arrested in connection with the crime in 2010 but a judge ruled there wasn’t probable cause to proceed and dismissed the case. Prosecutors say significant new evidence has linked Angerer to the case again, and this time, it led to a grand jury indictment.
