A Fort Collins man has been arrested for creating and possessing child sexual abuse images and videos, following a cyber tip received in August of 2023. Through an extensive investigation, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as 40 year old Fort Collins resident Christopher Kyle Shaffar Investigators conducted a search warrant at his home in November 2023 and found more than 3,700
sexually graphic images and videos of infants, children, and teens. They determined that the suspect knew and had contact with two children featured in hundreds of the exploitative photos.
