RMNP feeling the effects of gov’t shutdown

As the government shutdown continues, Rocky Mountain National Park is seeing the effects. Roads haven’t been plowed, trash is collecting and the bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in nearly 2 weeks. The Rocky Mountain Conservancy says about 400 people a day have been walking into the park because the roads are closed. They’re operating a vistors center just outside the park, becoming the go-to for information during the shutdown. They plan to stay in operation during the entire shutdown.
