As the government shutdown continues, Rocky Mountain National Park is seeing the effects. Roads haven’t been plowed, trash is collecting and the bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in nearly 2 weeks. The Rocky Mountain Conservancy says about 400 people a day have been walking into the park because the roads are closed. They’re operating a vistors center just outside the park, becoming the go-to for information during the shutdown. They plan to stay in operation during the entire shutdown.
