Loveland City Council Will Look At Funding To Prosecute Red Light Camera Offenders

Red light cameras are going up in three Loveland intersections within a few weeks, now Loveland City Council is being asked to consider setting aside funds to help pay for prosecuting camera-generated citations.  The Loveland Reporter Herald reports at Tuesday’s regular meeting, City Attorney Vince Junglas will request a budget appropriation that will go toward more staff to help share the prosecutorial burden.  The City Council approved installation of the cameras with a unanimous vote in September 2023.
