Weld County Commissioners Wednesday named Barb Kirkmeyer the chair of the panel for 2019 and Mike Freeman the chair pro tem at their first meeting of the new year.
Four of the commissioners were also named to oversee the county’s major departments.
However, Sean Conway, who was shut out of a coordinator’s role by other commissioners the past two years today removed himself from consideration for oversight of a department.
