A gang member from Greeley is going to prison for the rest of his life. 21-year-old Marcello Rodriguez was found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Paul Ortiz back in July 2016. Rodriguez initially pleaded guilty, but then withdrew his plea, claiming that his cousin was actually the one who fired the shot. The district attorney’s office called the outcome “the best possible resolution in the case.”
