Northern Colorado’s 77-53 win at Idaho State marked the second straight Monday where the Bears recovered from a disappointing effort with strong play.
Now it can be told: Jeff Linder, off mic before our post-game conversation, said it may have been the best game of the year. It’ s tough to argue with that point.
More assists than turnovers. An opponent held 8 below their average for three-pointers made. Keeping the ball moving and getting guys involved. Not allowing focus to waver.
Those things all occurred in Monday’s win, as the Bears moved a half-game up on Montana for second in the Big Sky and became the second team to 6 wins in conference play.
Jordan Davis finished with 19 points and 8 assists, Jonah Radebaugh finally got going from the 3pt line and scored 16 and Matej Drgon came off the bench for his best outing of the year with 12 points, all from the three point line.
