Censure Proceedings Initiated Against Loveland City Council Member

Loveland City Council members voted this week to initiate censure proceedings against Ward 3 representative  Erin Black.  The Loveland Reporter Herald reports Councilor Steve Olson introduced the action following discussion about council appointments to city boards and commissions.  Olson broached the topic of censuring Black for what he and others called “attacks” against Loveland Police Chief Tim Doran, pointing to unspecified emails between Black and the chief, as well as online exchanges with Andrea Samson. Olson also proposed removing Black from her five liaison appointments to city boards and commissions.
