JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Manage client accounts to maintain a productive relationship and ensure campaign success
*Develop and implement creative radio advertising campaigns
*Proactively pursue advertising leads, and potential clientele
*Ability to meet sales goals, while keeping accounts organized and maintaining all account details/ orders
*Excellent interpersonal skills and business skills are necessary to effectively work among co-workers in an integrated team setting
*Ability to present strategically-focused campaigns designed to successfully market to the client’s target demographic
*Experience working with sales, and broadcast media is preferred

*Strong written and communication skills
*Ability to work with a team to create positive results

Interns
Would you like an internship that allows you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience instead of just sitting around at promotional events? Are you looking for experience in broadcast news, sports or sales?
1310 KFKA is northern Colorado’s only locally-owned radio station, presenting the area’s most locally originated news, talk and sports programming. Between 6am & 6pm daily, we offer nine hours of local talk and conversation, with local news & sportscasts each hour.
We are the home for University of Northern Colorado football and basketball and are the only area station offering HS sports coverage with as many as three games per week.
This is a professional environment, without being corporate and without being straitlaced. Our operations manager, production director, morning show producer, midday show producer, afternoon host and salesperson are all former interns with us. If you are interested in sales, there are opportunities to earn commission.
