A Prairie Heights teacher has been suspended after she was seen on cell phone video taping a seventh grade boy to a chair, according to Evans police. The tape was wrapped several times around the child’s chest and legs. And she covered his mouth with tape, which he immediately removed. Officers say they were notified Thursday and immediately launched an investigation. Police believe she was doing it as punishment. The teacher, who is not being identified, was placed on paid administrative leave immediately, according to a district spokeswoman. No charges have been filed.
