Classes are going on as normal today at Platte Valley Middle School after a threat turned out to be not credible. According to a post on district’s Facebook page, administrators were notified late yesterday afternoon about the threat that a student planned to bring a weapon to school. Police officers and school leaders spoke to the student and determined that the threat wasn’t credible and that there was no danger to students. The student who made the threat will not be in the building today.
