Teen saves girl at Greeley Family FunPlex

A 13-year-old boy is being hailed as a hero after he saved a 10-year-old girl who nearly drowned at the Greeley Family FunPlex on Tuesday afternoon. Firefighters say the girl inhaled water in the pool and couldn’t breathe. The boy, Isaac Favela, saw her in distress and jumped in to save her. He took to the lifeguards nearby who started chest compressions to get her to cough up the water. She was cleared by paramedics and released back to her family. Greeley firefighters say had it not been for Isaac, the outcome could have been much worse.
