Greeley schools show some improvement in state testing

Preliminary numbers released by the state Department of Education show that three struggling District 6 schools have become some of the highest rated.

Billie Martinez and Centennial Elementary schools, as well as Prairie Heights Middle School all jumped to “performance” rated, the highest rating offered by the state, based on standardized tests.

Three schools in the district did score worse this year than last, while 18 others maintained their performance scores.
