A Future Rail Plan

There’s a vision the state will get on the fast track. Colorado has a plan to build a train serving the Front Range and the mountains. Touting speeds to cover the area in minutes…it is also an expensive plan at 24 billion dollars. The Rocky Mountain Hyperloop team gave that estimate for the 360 miles, connecting Denver to Pueblo, Vail and Cheyenne. The routes, which include several stops, would be able to handle 45 million trips in the year 2040, and generate $2 billion in revenues annually, that’s according to state officials. Right now, the proposal is nothing more than just that.
