Funds For Workforce Education

An area school district gets funding for a program hoped to produce the manufacturing workforce of tomorrow. Officials tell reporters the Daniels Fund has given a grant of 200 thousand dollars to the Success Foundation. It supports Greeley Evans Schools in its efforts to develop skilled workers in the areas of advanced manufacturing techniques. It is no secret there is a worker shortage in the region, badly needed in industrial technologies and even robotics used in manufacturing operations. The program will train workers with hands on opportunities, internships and more. The aim is to provide students with employment later on and even college options as well.
