Colorado Back at Home Against Boston

The Colorado Avalanche (8-6-3) takes on the Boston Bruins (10-5-2) on Wednesday night in the first of two games the teams will clash in this season. The contest is the first of a two-game homestand for the Avs that concludes with the defending Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals visiting Pepsi Center on Friday.

Colorado holds a 21-10-1 all-time record against Boston (since 1995-96), which includes a 9-8-0 mark at home. The Avalanche was victorious in both outings against the Bruins last year, shutting out the B’s 4-0 at TD Garden on Oct. 9 and topping them 6-3 at the Avs’ home opener two days later.
