Teachers in the Greeley-Evans School District will have a little more money in their paychecks

Teachers in the Greeley-Evans School District will have a little more money in their paychecks next year. The district 6 Board of Education approved a two-year contract with the Greeley Education Association that will raise the base salary for teachers to $40,000 in the 2020-2021 school year. Officials say the pay hike will bring the district higher than many surrounding districts, and they’re hopeful more money will help in recruiting teachers, according to online media reports.
