With the NBA Lottery looming and the draft right behind, one of the annual events for guys who are not likely to be draft prospects is the Plymouth (Va.) Invitational Tournament. 4 days, 12 games and, this year, two Big Sky student-athletes: UNC’s Jordan Davis and Montana State’s Tyler Hall.
Teams of 8 players are set up, with each team getting at least 3 games in the event that starts Wednesday.
It’s really no surprise the Big Sky’s top two all-time scorers would be a part of this, but it speaks to the level to which Jordan Davis enhanced his potential in the eyes of potential NBA front office personnel and scouts this past season.
Also included on the rosters is Isaiah Pineiro of San Diego, who the Bears saw each of the last two seasons and began his career with a season at Portland State.
