The Loveland Ford Player of the week goes to two Highland Huskies who were dominating in Highland’s 77-57 win over Eaton.
Senior Koby Anderson recorded a double-double with a game high 30 points and 13 boards while junior Tate Bessire blistered the stat sheet with his own double-double scoring 22 points and handing out 10 assists and adding 6 steals
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Jackson Haylsip from Greeley Central. The Sr. Guard poured in 32 points and grabbed 7 boards to lead the Cats to a 65-61 overtime victory against crosstown rival Greeley West. The win gave the Cats the tournament championship as they went 3-0 to capture the Roundball Invitational. Hayslip averaged 28 points and 7 boards per contest in the 3 day event.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Andre Sepeda from Greeley West High School. The Spartan senior dropped in a game high 23 points in leading Greeley West to a 62-50 home conference win over Monarch.
Prior to Christmas Break Nick Wall from Roosevelt High School was named Loveland Ford Player of the Week. Nick had a game high 21 points and grabbed eight boards in the Rider’s 64-59 win over Loveland.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Reece Johnson form Resurrection Christian High School. The Cougar senior scored 23 points and 19 points respectively in leading Resurrection Christian to a pair of victories last week. The Cougars rolled past Platte Valley and University to remain undefeated in Patriot League play.
Highland High School’s Jase scored 20 points and had 4 steals in the Huskies 79-50 win over Dayspring Christian Tuesday night.
In Kersey on Friday Becker led Platte Valley to a 66-54 win over Frontier Academy. The senior scored 25 points and had 17 boards in the victory.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Tommy Gonzales of Greeley West High School. The Spartan senior scored 15 points leading West to a 62-40 win over visiting Fort Collins.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Jackson Romero from Resurrection Christian HS… Jackson, a junior guard for the Cougars, poured in 27 points leading Rez to a 70-62 win on the road at Eaton.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Bryson Becker from Platte Valley High School. The Bronco senior scored 38 points for the second time in three games as Platte Valley rolled past Valley 59-47 in Patriot League play.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Tyler Uyemura from Platte Valley High School. The Broncos sophomore had 7 points, 5 assists and 3 steals as Platte Valley rolled Brush 59-42 in their regular season finale.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Carter Keil from Sterling High School. The Tiger senior led the way with 17 points and 5 boards as Sterling beat Resurrection Christian 63-53 to claim the Patriot League Championship.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Tate Bessire from Highland High School. Bessire, the leading scorer in the state in Class 2A this season, poured in a career high 38 points in the Huskies’ 79-73 Regional Final victory over Sedgwick County.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Jose Lopez from Platte Valley High School. The sophomore lefty did not allow a hit while striking out 9 Highland hitters and picking up the win in 3 2/3 innings of work out of the bullpen as the Broncos came from behind to beat the Huskies 12-9. Lopez also had two hits and drove in two runs to help aid the Bronco comeback.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Gavan Blackburn from Greeley Central High School. Gavan picked up the win going 4 innings on the hill for the Cats, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 6 Broncos as Greeley Central beat Platte Valley 6-1 in Kersey. Blackburn also contributed at the plate going 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and one RBI.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Ryan Ure from Eaton High School. The sophomore had an unbelievable weekend leading the Eaton Reds to the 2019 NoCo Classic Championship over the University Bulldogs. Ryan went 6 for 9 at the plate with a Grand Slam and 13 RBI over the three game set. If that’s not enough, the southpaw pitched a 5 inning no-hitter striking out 13 Bennett hitters in the middle game of the tournament on Friday night.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Drew Book from Sterling High School. The Tiger’s catcher went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 5 RBI leading the 4th Ranked Tigers to a 13-3 road win at Valley.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Logan Thornton from Windsor High School. The Wizard senior went 4 for 7 at the plate with a HR and 2 RBI as the Wizards swept Roosevelt in a 2 game series, 7-2 and 5-2.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Dalton Logan from Eaton High School. The Reds junior OF/P hit the game tying homerun in the bottom of the 7th inning against Patriot League rival Resurrection Christian in a 3-2 13 inning victory for Eaton. Dalton also got the win on the hill pitching 6 2/3 innings of shutout baseball in relief.
The Loveland Ford Player of the Week is Andre Chacon form University High School. The Junior outfielder went 4 for 5 at plate and drove in the winning run with a walk-off single in the bottom of the 8th Inning as top ranked UH knocked off #2 Eaton 5-4 Saturday at Tom Roche field in Greeley.
University High senior Kalob Padilla picked up his 5th win of the season shutting out the Valley Vikings as the Dogs rolled the Vikes in the Regional Final 14-0. Kalob allowed just one hit and struck out 8 as the defending champs qualified for State with the win
Logan Moser ran his record to a perfect 5-0 working four innings and scattering 3 hits without allowing an earned and struck out 9 Miner hitters as the Reds blasted Trinidad 12-2 in the Regional Opener.
