Lawsuit filed against King Soopers over E. coli outbreak

A Fort Collins man has filed a lawsuit against King Soopers after he contracted E. coli earlier this year. William Glasier and his wife bought a whole head of romaine lettuce from the grocery store in April. He subsequently ended up in the hospital, where his heart stopped and he suffered a seizure. Doctors were able to save him, but he was in the hospital for more than a month and suffered permanent kidney damage. The E. coli outbreak was linked to farms in Arizona where more than 200 people nationwide were sickened.
