A man wanted on child sex charges in Fort Collins has been arrested in Texas. Andrew Vanderwal was charged in January 2017 with five counts of sexual assault on a child. He posted bond and then skipped town, police said. Officers believed he’d fled to Mexico after his car was found abandoned on a bridge in El Paso, near the border last year. But on Monday, Vanderwal was booked into the jail in Texas under the name Andrew Webster. He’s accused of sexually assaulting his former roommate’s son and several other young children.
