New report finds fewer cavities for Colorado kids
How are your kids teeth? A new report from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment says over the last decade, about 14% fewer kindergarteners have had at least one cavity. And the number of third graders with cavities also dropped about 10% over that same period. The report found that more children are receiving sealants on their teeth, but there’s still some disparity among income levels. African American and Latino students are more likely to have dental problems than their white peers.
