Flu sends 30 people to Weld County hospitals in February
So far this month, 30 people have been hospitalized for the flu in Weld County. That’s down from last month, when 74 people were admitted for influenza. A spokesman for the health department says they believe the worst is over, but there could be spikes as the flu season winds down in northern Colorado. Health officials are still reminding everyone to wash their hands, cover their mouths and nose when you sneeze or cough, and stay home if they’re sick.
