Colorado’s senators propose immigration fix
Colorado’s senators say they’ve got a solution for immigration. Sens. Michael Bennet and Cory Gardner said in a statement that their legislation addresses DACA and border security. They’re urging members on both sides of the aisle to support their approach to fixing the nation’s immigration system. Their plane calls for $25 billion toward border security over the next decade and a 12-year path to citizenship for the people who were brought to the US illegally as children. Its not clear if their bill has enough support to get the 60 votes needed to get out of the Senate.
