Kerry Washington to produce ABC Comedy, "Man of the House"
(LOS ANGELES) — Kerry Washington’s production company has added another project to its growing list.
According to Deadline, Washington’s Simpson Street has been tapped to take on the ABC family comedy, Man of the House.
The series, created and written by Baby Daddy co-executive producer Frank Pines, follows a teenage football quarterback who becomes the only male in his household after his divorced mother moves in with her sister and daughters. The series is said to be inspired by Pines’s real life.
This is the latest project for Washington and her Simpson Street production company under her recently inked deal with ABC Studios. Washington is also set to produce the upcoming films The Perfect Mother and 24-7.
