Two teenagers were pulled from the Poudre River on Sunday evening. The 911 call came in around 5:30. An 18-year-old in an inner tube was rescued in the Watson Lake area, pulled to the shore with a rope, and then taken to the hospital to get checked out. A 16-year-old was about 100 yards downstream and unconscious. People nearby were doing CPR until first-responders could arrive. That teen was airlifted to the hospital. Firefighters say neither were wearing life jackets. They’re warning everyone to stay out of the river, because its running high and cold.
