Slight increases in unemployment in April, NoCo still best in state

Both Weld and Larimer counties saw slight increases in unemployment numbers in April, but continue to hold down two of the best marks in the state. Boulder County’s mark of 2.1 percent falls between the Larimer County rate of 2 percent and Weld County’s 2.3 percent for the month. Statewide, the average is 22.3 percent, according to the state Department of Labor and Employment.
