A 400-million-dollar reservoir project is getting approval from federal regulators.  The Denver office of the U.S. Corps of Engineers announced yesterday that the Windy Gap Firming Project has received its Clean Water Act permit.  The project includes the construction of a pair of dams that will form the Chimney Hollow Reservoir in an area southwest of Loveland.  Project officials tell the “Loveland Reporter-Herald” the project should begin construction late next year or in early 2019.
