Brush fires ignite across Northern Colorado

Dry weather and high temps helped to fuel several wildfires in nothern Colorado. Highs Thursday reached 75 degrees in Greeley, a new record. Windsor firefighters responded to at least three brush fires, the largest of which spread to roughly 70 acres before crews were able to get it contained. Crews in Fort Collins had one fire that damaged a home and several other structures. Another near the landfill was caused by a cigarette, likely tossed from a passing car.
