Fort Collins wins $70,000 grant for homeless vets
Homeless veterans will be getting more help in Fort Collins thanks to a new federal grant. The city’s Housing Authority was awarded nearly $70,000 in rental assistance through a program through HUD and the VA. Six other Colorado agencies also received funding. The money will be handed over to veterans in the form of housing vouchers. Already 125 veterans are taking advantage of the program and another 10 will be added to their ranks.
