Claim of shots fired leads to arrest in Loveland
A mystery unfolds in Loveland. Last Wednesday night, police received a report that a man knocked on a neighbor’s door, claiming he’d been shot. But he left before police arrived. While they were canvassing the neighborhood, police say a homeowner, who lives directly across the street from the house where the shot was purportedly fired, told officers something had hit their house. Officers found a dent on the siding, but no bullet. Whatever hit the house didn’t go through. So officers talked to the people in the suspect house. The couple inside told conflicting stories, so police obtained a search warrant. Several weapons and illegal drugs were allegedly found inside. Eric McIntyre was taken into custody on reckless endangerment and weapons charges. Police are still looking for a man who was shot. Anyone with information should call Loveland police.
